Hi everyone, savlon, purit and dettol do the same work to disinfect the bathing water/kill germs in the environment and dirty clothings. People preach against use of dettol for babies bathing water because of the stringent odour, it chokes some very sensitive babies unlike the other two but can be perfectly use for othet purpose

Is a drop of detol too much? Besides where was salvon when detol came to market. What did our mothers use then? Ask your mum or nurse

Pls don't use any because even at the heath centre they give us the dettol free but with warning on not to use on the babies but in stead use in washing there cloth that the chemical is too strong and i belief detol,purit they are all the same agent pls take note

Why savlon or dettol? Your baby is coming from a sterile environment, you dont need to bath him with antiseptic. The chemicals will be too harsh for the baby tender skin

Yes it's better to avoid it most times,so as not to kill the what fights bacteria in the baby skin. Use very little if you are using.
