I'ld rather you bath the baby with the unripe pawpaw and you the mother do the drinking with the hope the baby take it from breast milk. Because excessive papain (enzyme extracted from the unripe pawpaw) for neonate could cause more havoc. Continue the early morning therapy and adequate/regular breastfeeding as said by Madam Ayodeji. And take the baby for check up every 2-3 days to monitor the level to see if further step is needed.

Im sure before u were discharged, there must have been a sign of improvement. However d colour wont clear at once, its a gradual process, breastfeed ur baby well, breastmilk has been proven to clear jaundice away sooner if its physiological jaundice. Early morning sun helps too. In case u still donot see any improvement in 2 days, take ur baby back for check up.

You can get unripe pawapw,plug direct from the the paw paw tree ,cut it into pieces put it inside bottle water leave it over night, then the following day start giving her, that baby small spoon once daily and secondly very early morning sun,like 8 am sun not 9or 10am sun, don't allow the sun to touch her eyes,remove all her clothes before doing that,
