Pls any pregnant woman here that works and closes late I don't know y my Yoruba neighbore keep telling me is not good to work late at night with preg

Prayer is the key but it's also good to take precautions. I remember going to the market on one of those days while pregnant, and 6-7 elderly women started scolding me, they looked for pin for me to put in my cloth. Peak of the afternoon and walking at night is not too good, the same way many people don't like to post pregnancy pictures while been pregnant, it's nothing but being careful.

Nkeiru biko nwannem... All those tins r jst myth, dey do not exist in our culture. Dia r no facts in dem Always pray for ur baby anytime, any day. If u want to listen u wil get tired. Jst do what is medically and biblically rit.

The pin aspect. As a matter of fact I was forced by my mum to always attach pin to my clothes wherever I'm going. It is also believed to ward off evil spirits. Washing clothes at night... I do dat inside my bathroom cuz if any neighbour around sees me they will say it's a taboo. That such a persons mother will die untimely. Once people see that you are pregnant, you keep receiving unsolicited advice. Just thank them and move on...

Some yorubas believe evil spirits roam about late at night and sunny afternoons therefore it's not advisable for a pregnant woman to walk about during this hours ...believing ogbanje spirit can chase the baby inside the pregnant woman away and enter.
