Untreated Malaria during pregnancy causes a baby to be born with jaundice. During antenatal we were taught there are different type of Jaundice, some children even though not born with it, may start to show symptoms of it on the third day,soothers are advised to look out for it, press a part of your baby's face ,if it comes back with different colours like green yellow then there's jaundice. Check baby's eyes also if not white, they may be signs. During the first few days of birth, it's good to take baby out under sunlight to check for it
