From practice and experience, I learnt that when patient complain of ineffectiveness of eye drop for conjunctivitis, it is mostly due to inappropriate use and eventually contamination of the formulation. So I will suggest getting another antibiotics eye drop( if you were given chloramphenicol before, buy gentamycin now but if gent was given buy chlor). When you want to apply, raise the eyedrop up, dont allow the tip to touch any part of your eye to avoid contamination of the drug by the causative organism

Continue with d medications, it will resolve gradually. Don't give same eye drops to ur baby, take him or her to d doctor for appropriate attention.
