sure I think so. It's folic acid. If your doctor prescribed this medication, considering he/she has more medical experience and education than the majority of the women on here, I would bet it's safe to take. And if you're questioning it, why don't you call the doctor to voice your concerns?
If you can't trust your Healthcare provider and doubt their abilities, then why not just switch? I'm almost positive they would not prescribe you anything that could potentially harm your baby.
