Question

I dont go into labor until I was induce,what can cause it...because the last time I was induce ,it claim d life of my baby. I'm afraid

Even d last one I had in January, those doctor didn't want to comply with me but wen they noticed I did not labour naturally for many hours, they later induced me. And thank God my baby is 3month old today n he is fyn

Pls use good hospital dat has monitors to detect fetal distress earlier, so dey wil know whn/how to get baby out as soon as possible and also wit a equipped NICU

Sorry for your loss dear. Induction wasnt d reason for d baby's demise. Some ppl dont fall in labour naturally, the reason is idiopathic i.e unknown. The baby must have suffered fetal distress which may be due to prolonged labour, placental insufficiency(if d baby is post-term) etc. Post-term is d major reason for induction, while this is done, d fetal well being has to be monitored closely cos post-term babies are most likely to suffer fetal distress and if not detected early, fetal death follows. The fact that u were induced before doesnt mean u wont fall in labour naturally next time. May u never experience such again. Put ur mind at rest, dont skip ur check-ups. Talk to ur midwives and doctor, then ask questions if need be. All d best!
