I clocked 40 weeks today yet no labor ,no contraction. Last week ,my Doctor told me to come for induction but I refused, today again is another appoin

Listen to your doctor pls and allow them to induce you. My first scan gave me 5th of August the last gave me 25th of July. Started having menstrual like cramps and complained at my last visit. They checked my scan and checked me and I already dilated 3cm no labour no contraction for about 4days. Doctor called me and said if labour doesn't come he will have to break my water on the 5th day. And on the 5th day labour didn't come I went to the hospital and allowed them do their thing.Finally delivered my baby at 38weeks 3days weighing 3.9if I had waited till the August my first scan gave me I probably would have ended with a almost 5kg baby. So go and be induced your baby is full term already. God be with you.

EllaBenny, I would've advise u to wait patiently till 9th August, bcos it's the first scan that's always accurate. After all it is only when a woman crosses 42weeks that's risky.

D first scan gav me 9th of August, d second scan said 15 July while d third scan said 16 July. I don't no d one to follow

In my own Opinion, kindly listen to your doctor. Induction is a standard practise in medicine. Remember, the longer the baby stays in you after 40 weeks, the more risky it becomes
