Pls am 40 weeks gone since yesterday am having serious pain on my waist. Is that a sign of labor ?

Yes it could be labor but most times you might not witness the water breaking or mucus mixed with blood but contractions and waist pain can result to that. Mind you that can occur a week or two before or after your due date. But to be on the safe side, see your doctor.
