My baby is 3 months old. Is it okay to give him cow milk?
No please don't give. Mothers are usually recommended to exclusively breastfeed for their baby’s first six months. After six months, breastmilk alone doesn't provide your baby with enough nutrients, particularly iron, so you will need to gradually introduce other foods. and that's when you have to start with purees and other solids Waiting until six months to introduce your baby to solid food protects your baby's health. It reduces the chance that she will develop allergies or pick up an infection from food. And that babies stomach don't have the capacity to digest anything else.
Please, don't give anything without consulting ur child paediatrician...every baby is different...it is said dat it is not advisable to give cows milk till at least 6months... personally I had started cows milk for my daughter wen she was 3months old coz my doctor had advised me...but u need to keep a check on her digestion and any kind of allergies for first 2-3 days..don't try anything without proper consultation from a paediatrician
