My baby of 19 weeks has been crying frequently this day especially when eating, she will be pulling her hair and crying and sometimes she will wake up I presumed it was stomach ache so I took her to see a paediatrician and he said it's colic and it will stop. But I doubt it is colic because she has experienced that at her early stage. I don't know what to do because the cry is becoming unbearable. Pls, I need advice
If your baby is becoming so uncomfortable, please see the paediatrician again for reevaluation.
You may however give infacol for relief, but note that it does not work for every baby.
But since you are still worried
Your baby is probably having colic, it should resolve on its own without any treatment.
It usually starts a few weeks after birth and often improves by age 3 months. By ages 4 to 5 months, the majority of babies with colic have improved.
