My baby will be one-year-old by November. He bangs his head on the wall or floor when he is upset. I want to know if it's as a result of health issues
Your child might hit his or herself or bang his or her head because they want attention. Going over to the child and giving the much-needed attention will stop the hitting or banging of head. The next step is to teach the child how to get your attention in another way – eg by calling "mummy" or coming to you and showing you a help card for that purpose.
