Poop Is it normal to be seeing mucus in your two months baby
Seeing small amounts of mucus in baby's poo is at most times not a cause for concern. This is because the walls of the intestine secretes mucus which may pass out with stool once in a while. Therefore, one or two days of passing that kind of stool shouldn't be worrisome.

However, if the mucus filled stool continues for like a week, then it could be painting out to diarrhoea, allergies or change in diets of the mother. It could also be pointing out to change in the pattern of breastfeeding.

If you still find it difficult to determine what is the cause, especially if the stool persists, kindly visit a paediatrician.
