However, if the drugs were not prescribed by a doctor, please stop self medication and take your child to see a doctor, preferably a paediatrician for proper assessment and management. Kindly treat as urgent especially as child is loosing weight.

Was the drug prescribed by a doctor? If yes, kindly take him back to be seen and re-evaluated by the doctor. It is best for a doctor that has seen the child before to re-evaluate and treat the child.
