Rarely it can be haemorrhagic disease of the newborn and that is why your baby should have received IM Vitamin K at birth. You can still take her to the hospital to receive the Vitamin K

Most common cause of this "bleeding" is what we call Urate crystals from dehydration. If truly blood, it may be bleeding from the withdrawal effects of the maternal hormones after delivery from the baby.
