I have a 10 weeks old daughter, she recently passed watery. I gave her a zinc sulphate pill and gave an oral rehydration solution. Yesterday she passed another stool but it wasn't watery like the one she passed on last week. I still continued on ORS and gave her zinc again.
So my question is "can this be diarrhoa or it can onli be classified as diarrhoa when she does it frequently? like maybe more than twice a day...?
it is one of the criteria for seeing a paediatrician urgently....any concerns whatsoever no matter how minor in babies 2-month-old and younger . All you need to do is to increase your breastfeeding. Breastfeed often and longer..
Please stop the ORS and oral zinc....it is not for newborns or 2 months old!!!
For infants, always see a paediatrician first before starting first aid
