Cough and catarrh are viral infections which usually run their course with or without medication. Babies with cough and catarrh. Exclusive breastfeeding and keeping baby warm. Avoidance of smoke and people with cough and cattarh are what to do... No need for medications. If a child should develop breathing difficulties kindly take to see a Paediatrician

@anonymous I tried wrapping my baby up for heat and it worked out fine

@kofoworolaidowu, my 11 weeks old baby is also facing the same issue... I have done all listed above, even gone to general hospital and a very strong antibiotics was recommended which she has completed the dosage but the cough persist.
