Give ORS and see a doctor urgently

Diarrhoea in children is mostly caused by viruses followed by bacteria.Some other organisms like fungi and protozoa may also cause diarrhoea
The latter mentioned mainly cause diarrhoea in individuals who do not have the maximum capacity to fight infections (an example is individuals with HIV AIDS ). Diarrhoea on its own may not kill but the loss of water and minerals as a result of diarrhoea is capable of causing death.
